Optimal Maintenance Policy for Offshore Wind Systems

Employing maintenance threshold plays a critical step in determining an optimal policy for offshore wind system to reduce costs while increasing reliability. Considering the limited works on this topic, we propose two-stage procedure determine thresholds multiple components of power order minimize achieving highest possible First, using genetic algorithms, dynamic strategy is developed individual where cost and rate failure are critical. Then, fuzzy multi-objective programming applied find system’s considering all components. A variety factors including weather conditions, reliability, generation losses, electricity market price carefully considered enhance reliability maintenance. When results compared, component-wise versus system-wise, average savings 1.19% obtained increased by 1.62% average.
